Nesting Mid-Century-Modern Side Tables
My dad made the smaller table shown around 65 years ago. I inherited it recently and set about making a matching table. I decided to make them into a set of nesting tables. So I built a larger table, sized to be a useful end table or living room side table, and the smaller table would nest under it. This plan package contains all the needed dimensions from BOTH tables, so you can make yourself a version of either or both tables.
(originally I made my table with a stripe of maple down the middle which I later cut out and replaced with cherry. Hence the tables appear different in some of the photos here as there are some before and after photos mixed in.)
The plans consist of a 30 page PDF file, which contains Measured 3D and 2D drawings (plans) which contain all the measurements of both of these tables, as well as some notes and guidelines.
